Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie and her brother and sister released a heartfelt video appeal asking for the immediate and safe return of their missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
In the emotional message posted Wednesday, Savannah said: “Everyone is looking for you, Mommy, everywhere. We will not rest. Your children will not rest until we are together again.”
The family emphasized that Nancy, 84, has serious heart problems, lives with chronic pain, and requires daily medication to stay alive. Without her medicine, she faces life-threatening danger and intense suffering.
"Our mom is our heart and our home. She needs her medicine to survive. She needs it not to suffer.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her home near Tucson late Saturday night. Authorities believe she was taken from her bed early Sunday morning against her will.
The family reported her missing around noon on Sunday. No suspect has been named, and investigators have not determined whether the abduction was targeted or random.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos stated clearly: “We do believe that Nancy was taken from her home against her will.”
Ransom Notes and Federal Response
Investigators are examining possible ransom letters, including one received by a local news station and turned over to police. The family has publicly stated they are willing to communicate, but stressed they must have undeniable proof that Nancy is alive before proceeding.
On Wednesday night, President Donald Trump posted that he had spoken with Savannah Guthrie and was directing all federal law enforcement resources to assist local authorities immediately.
Massive Investigation Underway
FBI Director Kash Patel is expected to travel to Arizona to help lead the effort. Additional FBI agents, hostage negotiation specialists, digital forensics experts, and elite Border Patrol personnel have been deployed to the area.
Investigators are analyzing Nancy’s cell phone, reviewing home security camera footage (some of which is still being obtained), and examining the condition of the house for signs of struggle or items out of place. A front-door camera was reported missing.

Urgent Medical Concern
Sheriff Nanos emphasized that Nancy has limited mobility but is mentally sharp. Missing even one day of her required medication could be fatal.
Family and Community Plea
On Monday night, Savannah Guthrie posted on Instagram asking for prayers, describing her mother as “a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant.”
The FBI and sheriff’s department continue to urge anyone with information to come forward immediately. Tips can be submitted by calling 911 or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.
We are looking at this from every angle, but we need your help. Every lead and tip is important.— Jon Edwards, FBI Tucson
The entire family has vowed to keep searching without pause until Nancy is safely returned home.
